It was a busy long weekend for the North Bay OPP, and the OPP around the area. A handful of people travelling through North Bay over the weekend were taken down and charged after traffic stops.
A pair of 21-year-olds, one from South Himsworth Township and one from Wooler, were charged with impaired driving and having more than 80mgs of alcohol in their blood. Around 6:00pm on Saturday night, the North Bay OPP also charged a 53-year-old man from Madawaska Township for refusing to provide a breath sample.
Finally, the Powassan OPP charged a driver for reckless driving just after 6:00am on Highway 522 in Nipissing Township on Saturday.
