Volunteers and consumers from March of Dimes Canada Stroke Recovery Canada program will be out in North Bay championing the services that help them live independently next weekend. Stroke Recovery Canada is a national network that provides support, education, and community programs to help stroke survivors and their caregivers thrive after a stroke.
Walk’n’Rollers will secure pledges, then complete a designated course at North Gate Shopping Mall as a way of fundraising and raising awareness for their programs, and boosting their own fitness. You can visit the Walk’n’Roll website at marchofdimes.ca/walknroll.
Walk’n’Roll has raised over $364,500 since it started, and this year’s goal is another $70,000. Things get underway at North Gate on Saturday, June 3rd at 9:00am and it runs until 12:00pm. March of Dimes Canada is a nationally registered charitable organization providing support services to people with disabilities, their families and caregivers across Canada.
