The Bonfield strike heats up. Fred Hahn, the president of CUPE Ontario was in North Bay yesterday. He said that he’s pushing for the province to get involved. Most recently he met with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Linda Jeffery. The Bonfield municipal strike began in August. CUPE says they want a third party to get involved to help resolve issues and get workers off the picket line.
