North East LHIN CEO stepping down

North East Local Health Integration Network CEO Louise Paquette is stepping down. Paquette announced she was leaving on Tuesday, after seven years in the role. She’ll officially leave her post in June.

In a release, Paquette says it’s been a privilege to work with such a positive and enthusiastic group of people. She added Northerners are very fortunate to have the exceptional talent at the LHIN helping to improve the patient experience by building a better system.

The North East LHIN is the province’s northern health funding agency that decides how money from the province is doled out. Kate Fyfe will be taking over as CEO in the interim as the LHIN board begins to search for Paquette’s successor.
