Three people from Poland arrested by North Bay Police for theft of hygiene products

North Bay Police have arrested three people from Poland, currently living in Mississauga, for theft of a large amount of razors and hygiene products back in April. Police say the three individuals were seen on store security video stealing a large quantity of razors, razor blades and oral hygiene products from Walmart. They left the store undetected and unidentified at that time, and they made off with $7,800 worth of items.

On June 2nd, Walmart security recognized two of the same three people were back in the store trying to steal more stuff. After they left the store, police were given the license plate of the suspect vehicle and tracked it down a short time later on Highway 11 South. A 39-year-old man, a 41-year-old woman and a 34-year-old woman were all arrested as a result of the investigation. All three are facing charges of attempt theft from the June 2nd incident, and theft over $5000 from the incident back in April.

They were also charged with possession of a device to commit mischief, after police found and seized two electronic boxes that rendered the security scanners at the store exits ineffective as evidence. All three were held in custody for a bail.
