Cambrian College is suspending its women’s basketball program for two seasons. The Golden Shield women have struggled the past two years and this past season they only managed two wins. The lack of wins plus difficulty finding a basketball coach for the upcoming season led college brass to suspend the program. The college has told the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association about the suspension. Cambrian hopes to bring back women’s basketball for the 2019-20 season.
