The New Democrat MPP for Nickel Belt is demanding answers from the Liberals over a major flaw with the organ donor website. France Gelinas says the site recorded inaccurate information from organ donors for 18 months before someone noticed the problem. Gelinas wants to know how the problem went undetected for so long. She also wants to know if organs didn’t make it to waiting patients after the donors passed away. The MPP adds because the problem went undetected, about 60,000 new registered donors now have to clarify their wishes.
