Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the Liberals say one thing but do the exact opposite. The Tory was reacting to the Liberals freezing public sector wages. But Fedeli says they replaced the wage freeze with a merit pay formula which is another way of handing out a bonus. Fedeli adds this is not freezing wages like the Liberals claim. Under the merit pay formula, public sector wages can increase three to five percent. Fedeli says last year the Liberals froze non-union wages but then awarded bonuses to 98 percent of the workers in this group.
