The North Bay Farmers’ Market will be getting into the summer spirit on Saturday, and adding a little sweetness to people’s lives with their Strawberry Shortcakes made with fresh local strawberries from Leisure Farms. This year the cost of the shortcakes are $1.50, to honour Canada’s 150th Birthday. Organizers are asking people to come out early to be a part of the giveaway of Canadian Flags and Market Bucks.
