The North East Region of the OPP is seeing some command changes. Inspector Joan McMahon, who started her career with the Espanola OPP in 1987, is now in charge of staff development and training. Prior to the move, McMahon was the manager of regional crime prevention and investigation. Taking over McMahon’s former job is Detective Inspector Todd Proulx who has worked at several OPP detachments including the Mattawa branch. The third change sees Baldassare “Baldo” Nuccio assume command of the OPP’s business and finance department. Nuccio commanded the OPP’s James Bay detachment prior to his promotion.
