Pilgrimage arrives in North Bay July 30th

A group of 30 people arrive in North Bay July 30th to help foster reconciliation between Canadians and First Nations people.   The group arrives by water as part of the Canadian Canoe Pilgrimage which is making its way to Montreal.  The paddlers will stay overnight at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Joseph and then carryout various activities on the grounds of Motherhouse on the 31st.  The path the paddlers are taking is a traditional First Nation trading route which the early explorers also used.   The pilgrimage begins its journey in Midland on July 20th and arrives in Montreal August 15th.
