Municipal politicians from the north, business people and the general public can learn about the State of the North in a couple of months. The Northern Policy Institute is holding its annual conference in Timmins and discussions will examine how well Northern Ontario is doing. The Institute says while the north faces a declining and aging population, First Nations are seeing growth among their young people. The conference will talk about how everyone can benefit from this growth. The two day gathering begins September 27th.
