For the first time ever, the Pride Flag will be flown at North Bay City Hall. The newly formed North Bay Pride Committee will raise the flag in a ceremony next week on Friday. That’s followed by a march the next day from City Hall to the bandstand at the waterfront followed by a Unity for Pride Picnic. The chair of the Pride committee, Kit Paulson, says people in the LGBTQ2+ community still face struggles. Paulson hopes the general public takes part in the march and picnic to support acceptance and change.
