The Ontario Provincial Police are continuing to search for the missing man who was carried away by the current while swimming in the Ottawa River in Mattawa over the weekend. Police have identified the man was 40-year-old Arthur Lavoie from Mattawa. The area where Lavoie entered the water is described as having very strong current, varying depths and not suitable for swimming.
