40 years of Neuroscience at Nipissing University to be celebrated this week

Nipissing University will be buzzing later this week as the school gets ready to host 40 years of neuroscience research at Nipissing. The three-day conference begins this Thursday, where people will hear from past students who have gone onto various fields of neuroscience medicine and psychology. The majority of papers will be presented by students who left Nipissing to pursue graduate studies elsewhere. The conference will be held in the Fedeli Room (F210) at the university.

Delegates will hear from about two dozen speakers, most of them past graduates. One paper is by Jessica Tanner, who graduated in 2011, and has done research in aging and gambling. Staff will also deliver discussion papers. The keynote address comes on Saturday morning by Doctor Jeff Kleim, who graduated in 1992.
