A teenager has been charged after a police chase on Highway 17. It happened last Friday, when a North Bay OPP officer tried to stop an eastbound car that didn’t dim their high beams. The driver refused to stop and made several dangerous moves on the road. When the car finally came to an abrupt stop the driver ran into the bush. The passenger surrendered to police and was charged with taking a car without the owner’s consent. The driver has now turned himself in and faces six charges including possession of marijuana and dangerous driving.
