Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today that nearly $250,000 is being allocated to the North Bay Regional Health Centre over the next two years in one-time funding,
The hospital is receiving just over $215,000 in grants from the Exceptional Circumstance Project and Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund programs for the 2017-18 fiscal year.
A more than $41,000 in HIRF money is allocated for the Regional Health Centre for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
Fedeli thanked the hard-working staff at the hospital for their daily dedication, and hopes this funding will allow them to continue providing quality care to the people of Nipissing.
