The victim of a fatal weekend house fire on Manitoulin is believed to be the matriarch of the family. Fifty-two-year-old Terry Moore was the only person out of five not to escape the burning home early Saturday night. Moore’s grandson was burned in the incident and is being treated in Sudbury hospital. Two others suffered smoke inhalation. Investigators still don’t know the cause.
