A 23-year-old woman from Toronto has been arrested for drug possession by the Mattawa OPP. Police received a report of a car parked on Mattawan Street that had apparently been there a couple of hours.
They believed the woman was impaired, but after an investigation police found she was actually in possession of a schedule II substance – under 30 grams. She’s facing a single criminal charge, and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa on September 20th.
