Weekend Free 4 All Road Closures announced by the DIA

The Downtown Improvement Area has released the road closures for this year’s Weekend Free 4 All. A release says they listened to residents, and have decided to stagger the road closures to weed out traffic and set up for events.

100 East Block, Ferguson Street to Wyld Street, will be barricaded today beginning at 1:00pm and the fencing for the dodgeball will start at 4:00pm for the weekend activities. 200 East Block, Wyld Street to Sherbrook Street, will be barricaded starting at 2:00pm and the dirt jump set up will begin at 3:00pm with the delivery of clay based dirt.

The West End Blocks of Main, including Ferguson and Fraser [from McIntyre to Oak]) will be barricaded on Friday evening when the majority of businesses are closed and this is to weed out traffic for the Saturday morning set up of the Farmers’ Market and Saturday’s events. The DIA also attached a reminder that there are no road closures during Moonlight Madness tomorrow evening.
