This summer will see a labour hearing in North Bay for the Bonfield Mayor, Randy McLaren. It’s tied to the municipal worker strike, which started in the township in August. McLaren’s under fire after the termination of five striking employees. He’s also accused of unfair labour practice complaints. Yesterday, the Labour Relations Board was supposed to look at the case in Toronto. Instead, they had a discussion about the process and set dates for the hearing to take place in the Gateway City this summer.
