The North Bay Regional Health Centre is advising residents could have difficulty getting through because of cell phone network issues in the area. Some users may experience difficulty calling any numbers at the hospital.
This could include emergency or crisis numbers, and calls may be intercepted by unintended parties.
Anyone having connectivity issues on their cell phones is encouraged to text from or phone from a landline until the issue is resolved. According to the hospital, cell service providers have indicated it could be a few days before the issue is resolved.
