Lifeguards will be off-duty for the summer season at the end of their shifts, 7 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 20.
The Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services Department is advising the public that the upcoming weekend will be the last for monitoring at Marathon Beach, Olmsted Beach, and the Cove.
Beaches will remain open for use beyond this weekend but on a swim-at-your-own-risk basis.
