Projectiles used in local break and enters increasing in size

North Bay Police Service is reporting that officers attended an alarm on Fisher Street and found that a cement block was the projectile of choice to smash a window at a business and steal a laptop.

This comes just one day after police reported a break and enter on Lakeshore Drive, in which a safe was taken after a brick was used to break the window, on Aug. 16.

Also, overnight, police say that another break and enter occurred as a door to a Worthington Street East business was pried open and cash was removed from the premises.
