The City of North Bay is advising that the rehabilitation of Lakeshore Drive from Ferris Drive to Booth Road will begin on Thursday, Aug. 24. Depending on the weather, work should be completed by Friday, Sept. 1.
Traffic will be impacted and there will be minor delays but roads will remain open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Late next week, a detour will direct motorists around the area so that final paving operations can be completed. Lakeshore Drive will be closed between Ferris Drive and Booth Road.
The City says that the resurfacing project will see the road pulverized, graded, compacted, and paved with two lifts of asphalt.
