After outrage on social media, the North Bay Police Services Board has added in a second meeting for proposed changes to the fee schedule. The first meeting will still go November 7th at 10 AM, with a second one on the 8th at 9 AM. Right now, when a driver is given a compliance notice for something like a broken head light, they have a three day period where they can fix the problem for free. The police board says this is actually costing them money, and they would like to add a 25 dollar fee to have the fine go through. Both meetings will take place at police headquarters on Princess Street.
