Several more break and enters in North Bay

North Bay Police Service (NBPS) is investigating several break and enters in the area.

  • Police suspect that between Aug. 22 and Aug. 23, a window was broken to gain entry and a cash box and cash were taken from Hoagie’s Diner on O’Brien Street.
  • Aug. 24, at approximately 6:30 a.m., NBPS attended the scene of a break and enter at a local daycare facility. Police believe the culprit entered overnight between Aug. 23 and Aug. 24. Entry was through a back door. The office was ransacked but nothing appeared to have been taken.
  • Aug. 24, at approximately 1:55 a.m., police responded to an alarm call at North Bay Denture Clinic. The investigation continues.
  • Aug. 23, at approximately 8 a.m., NBPS responded to a residential break and enter on Kingsway Avenue in North Bay. Jewellery, tools, and electronics were taken. Entry is believed to have occurred through a rear window.
