Cocaine, opiates, marihuana, an imitation firearm with a detachable magazine, and prohibited knives seized in police bust.
Monday, the North Bay Police Service investigated a residence on Hammond Street. The Street Crime Unit believed that occupants of the residence were in possession of a restricted firearm that was taken in a recent break and enter.
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) arrested four people total between a traffic stop on Fisher Street, during which witnesses say the police unit had their guns drawn and pointed at the vehicle, and the execution of a search warrant at the nearby Hammond Street residence.
A 26-year-old woman, a 32-year-old man, and a 58-year-old man were all charged with possession of prohibited weapons, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
