Conservation Authority looking to fill vacancies on drinking water committee

A water-related committee under the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority is looking to fill five positions.  The vacancies are with the Drinking Water Source Protection Committee and members would receive a $200 a day per diem.  The Conservation Authority is looking for people to sit on the committee for five years.  The committee`s role is to reduce risks to drinking water sources in North Bay, South River, Callander, Powassan and Mattawa.  Three of the positions involve municipal representation, the fourth takes in the economic sector and the last position represents the public at large.  Details on how to apply are available online at www.actforcleanwater.ca and deadline dates are staggered depending on who you`re representing.
