Hundreds of Canadore College students will shine anything from shoes to cars for contributions to Shinerama, in support of research and care for Canadians with cystic fibrosis (CF).
Robin Chokomolin, president of the school’s students’ council, says that the Shinerama event is always eagerly anticipated and a staple of frosh week.
Several businesses will graciously allow Shinerama activities to take part on their properties. The event runs from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday at Boston Pizza, the Voyager Inn, Laporte’s Nursery and Greenhouses, the YMCA of North Bay, and TD Canada Trust on Main Street East.
