North Bay’s household income data from 2016 Census released

Statistics Canada revealing more data from the 2016 Census on Wednesday, this time income-related.

Some highlights:

  • The median total income of individuals in North Bay has risen from $29,283 in 2010 to $32,292 in 2015
  • In the most recent report, the median total income for males was $37,990 and $28,031 for females
  • In 2010, the median male total income was $35,896, for females $24,799
  • Household total income groups in 2015 for private households (before taxes) shows 5,775 of 22,610 households making $100,000 and over, while 9,280 households bring in less than $50,000
  • 930 households earn more than $200,000, while 1,545 make less than $15,000
  • The report states that 7,555 of 22, 610 private households net between $50,000 and $100,000
