Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli has made a statement at Queen’s Park, Wednesday, asking for transparency in billing practices from companies supplying carbon-based products.
In his statement, Fedeli shares a resolution passed by the Townships of Bonfield and Chisolm regarding the Liberal government’s cap and trade legislation.
The resolution requests that the government mandate that carbon costs appear on a separate line of bills from companies that supply products derived from carbon-based fuels.
Fedeli concludes his statement wondering if the government “has something to hide – again.”
