The owner of the Mattawa Blackhawks has been voted out of the NOJHL. In a prepared statement, David Beauchamp says the board held a confidential conference call and booted him out. He doesn’t explain why he was removed but the reason could be money. Beauchamp admits he owes the league money but was paying off the debt. Beauchamp also claims the Town of Mattawa locked him out of his office by changing the locks with no notice. He says the league plans to award the Mattawa team to another group. Moose FM has called the league commissioner for the NOJHL’s side of the story and is waiting to hear back.
