North Bay Police Service reporting that a 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The man kicked open a door at the rear of a residence in the 1100 block of Fisher Street on Thursday, according to police. Two males seated inside the back porch area of the residence, who are known to the accused, retreated into the building after he began yelling at them and swung a large stick at them.
Police say the man continued to yell and swing the stick even after the two men had vacated the porch, before leaving on foot by Fisher Street. Police located the man shortly after and made the arrest. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
