A glitch forced a lockdown Monday morning at Nipissing University and Canadore College in North Bay. It was the result of a false alarm and took place shortly after classes had started around 9:30 a.m. Both schools are apologetic for any stress or anxiety the incident may have caused. North Bay police have confirmed there was no emergency at either school and add the incident was the result of a false alarm. Once the glitch was fixed, it was business as usual at both Nipissing and Canadore.
