Municipal election results are in and it’s a landslide win for Mayor Al McDonald who came on top of the Mayor’s race with 84% of votes. You’ll also see some new faces at city council this term. Twenty-three year old Sheldon Forgette is North Bay’s new Deputy Mayor, achieving 8% of votes. Newcomers Derek Shogren and Jeff Serran will also take a seat on city council. All incumbents except for Dave Mendicino, Judy Koziol and Sarah Campbell were re-elected onto council.
