Fedeli says Liberal MPP changes story over No Man’s Land comment for fifth time

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says Liberal MPP Lou Rinaldi has changed his story five times now after calling Northern Ontario a No Man’s Land.  Rinaldi told Moose News he was referring to Fedeli being in no man’s land for going off topic on an issue.   However Fedeli says he was no longer in the Legislature when Rinaldi made the comment and Queen’s Park video shows this.  Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller was speaking at the time and Fedeli says the video shows another Tory MPP react to the comment.   Fedeli says in the video, the viewer can easily see Sam Oosterhoff suddenly turn to his right and then turns around to Miller right behind him and says the member, meaning Rinaldi, just said the phrase “No Man’s Land”.  Fedeli says if the Premier saw the same video, then maybe she’d realize her MPP made the disparaging comment instead of ignoring the matter.   Fedeli says what’s become worrisome about the entire situation is how the Liberals continue to refuse to admit one of their own made a disparaging comment about another part of the province.  He says they’re going to great pains to cover up the timing of what Rinaldi said in order that he can extract himself out of the controversy as painlessly as possible.   Fedeli says if the public can’t believe the Liberals about this incident, people have to wonder what else is being covered up.
