Fedeli wants Community Care Access Centres Investigated

The provincial Tories want the Auditor General to look into how the Community Care Access Centres operate. Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says right now the access centres spend 40 percent of their budget on administration. Fedeli says while admin costs keep rising, front line care suffers and this is wrong. Fedeli says the average personal support worker makes $20,000 but CEO’s at the access centres make about $234,000. The Tory MPP says in one case the salary of one CEO jumped 50 percent in just three years.
