If you live, work, or visit downtown you know it has looked like Christmas for months.
Crews from production companies consistently decked the halls downtown for various sets and backdrops through the warm late-summer weather. Now the Christmas season begins in earnest.
The 2017 Santa Claus Parade will take place Sunday, November 19, beginning at noon. This year’s theme is “150 Years of Canadian Christmas.” The parade will follow a Chippewa Street to Ferguson Street to Main Street path.
The City of North Bay is reminding interested parties that the deadline for applications for is Monday, November 13.
Registration forms may be filled in online at www.cityofnorthbay.ca or in person at the Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services department located on the second floor of City Hall. Forms may also be faxed to 705-474-9782.
