Calling all sexual assault survivors, activists, and allies

Amelia Rising Sexual Assault Centre of Nipissing says it is thrilled to host Sexual Assault: The Roadshow, which is a pop-up, participatory art gallery, housed in a retrofitted, glass-fronted shipping container for the month of October.

The Roadshow will serve as a meeting place, studio, and exhibition site for our community to demonstrate the power of art, to “talk back” to sexual assault.

North Bay stops:

  • October 3-9 Big Medicine Studio
  • October 10-15 North Bay Police Service
  • October 16-22 Nipissing University
  • October 23-29 North Bay City Hall

All are invited to the Opening Ceremony on October 3, at 5:30 pm at Big Medicine Studio, 161 Couchie Memorial Drive.

Meg Lozicki Paulin, a local multi-disciplinary installation and performance artist will be co-creating workshops at each of the stops. Art generated will be on display for the final exhibition at City Hall and may be chosen to travel to the Roadshow’s next stop.
