The organizing committee behind the Nipissing Serenity Hospice is asking the public to take the time to vote for a $100,000 grant for the cause.
The committee is seeking support across the Nipissing and East Parry Sound districts for an opportunity to win $100,000 in a national contest from the Aviva Community Fund.
Voting begins Tuesday, October 10 and votes are needed to advance to the final round. The contest is based on garnering votes for the top hospice idea.
Ideas will be displayed October 10 and voting will run until October 19. Each voter has 18 votes that can be cast at any time during the voting round.
