It’s good news for the Health Sciences North hospital in Sudbury. The facility has been named one of Canada’s top 40 research hospitals. For the last several years the hospital has undertaken world-class research. As a result, spokesman Doctor Francisco Diaz says the patients are the real winners in this story. Diaz, who is a microbiologist, says what’s significant is the facility cracked the top 40 very quickly in its history. He adds the public can expect many more positive developments from the hospital in the coming years.
