The strike at Canadore is having an impact on high school students who take dual credits at the college. Moose News contacted the area school boards who tell us because of the strike, the students must be at their local high schools on days when they would have taken their dual credit. The boards that responded to our inquiry were Near North, Franco Nord and the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic board. College Boreal also has students taking dual credits. Boreal told Moose News that although these classes are cancelled during the strike, any course offered online will continue.
