Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Jay Aspin has announced 12.7 million dollars in funding for the French River Dam Complex. The federal money will go towards replacing the dam, which manages water levels in Lake Nipissing and the French River. Construction on the dam started in October and is scheduled to wrap up in summer 2016.
