Brazen store robber even steals clerk’s phone

North Bay Police Service is searching for a suspect in a convenience store robbery that occurred Monday morning.

Police say at 4:45 am, a male entered the Mac’s located in the 1100 block of Cassells Street. The man was carrying a black tire iron and approached the clerk, demanding cash and cigarettes. As the suspect made his escape, he grabbed the clerk’s cell phone.

Police describe the suspect as 5’4” tall, wearing a dark and light blue ECKO hoodie, black and white handkerchief overtop of his face, ball cap, dark grey ECKO track pants, and red high top shoes with white soles.
