Police say woman ignores court conditions, hurls phone, damages car

North Bay Police Service says a 25-year-old North Bay woman under court-imposed conditions not to associate with her victim has been charged with:

  •  One count of assault with a weapon
  •  One count of mischief
  •  One count of breach of probation
  •  Breach of recognizance, two counts

It is alleged that on November 6 at approximately 2 pm, the male victim and female accused had a verbal argument while driving. The woman kicked the vehicle windshield, causing it to crack, while also breaking the rearview mirror.

Police say the woman is currently on court-imposed conditions not to associate with the victim. The victim drove to the North Bay Police headquarters to report the incident and subsequently disclosed that on October 19, the accused threw a cell phone at him, striking him in the head causing a cut.
