News Rocky night for man found with methadone SHARE ON: Stu Campaigne, staff Friday, Nov. 10th, 2017 Photo credit: supplied Thursday morning just before 5:00, Powassan OPP say they received a call about a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 at Highway 522. Officers attended the scene and began an investigation into the collision. The vehicle hit a rock cut and had extensive damage to it. The driver was taken to the North Bay Regional Health Centre by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. While investigating the collision, officers located a quantity of a liquid substance believed to be methadone. As a result of the investigation, a 66-year-old North Bay man has been charged with: Possess a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Careless Driving The accused has been released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on December 5, in North Bay.
