Not the sharpest tool in that shed

On Saturday at 6:30 am, the North Bay Detachment of the OPP received a call about a break and enter in progress in Bonfield. The complainant advised police that a man had been in her shed and then left her property toward a vehicle stuck that was stuck in the ditch. The man was able to eventually get the vehicle free and drove off.

Officers located the vehicle on Boxwell Road in Bonfield Township with extensive front-end damage.

Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle and say they detected an odour of alcohol on his breath. The driver was arrested for impaired driving at the scene and was brought to the North Bay Detachment for breath testing.

The breath tests revealed that the driver had over the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.
