North Bay has a new mobile crisis team. The crisis service is a partnership between the North Bay Regional Health Service, Police Service, and the local health integration network. It allows registered nurses and police officers to work together to improve patient experiences, and make Mental Health and Addiction Services more available. This will allow trained professionals to respond to crisis situations at home and in the community, without always having to bring them to the Emergency Department.
