Police administration fee proposal gets shot down…

You won’t have to pay North Bay Police for that broken headlight, at least anytime soon. The proposed administration fee was shot down at yesterday’s Police Services Board Meeting in a vote. Police Chief Paul Cook was proposing to add an 11 to 21 dollar fee to when someone is handed a 72-hour compliance notice. Even though it was meant to be a cost saving measure for the board, the proposed fee was met with public outcry on social media.
